They have contributed to the arrest of criminals like sexual predators and animal abusers. A online video of a girl throwing puppies into a river was found online and was posted onto their main site /b/ on 4 chan. The ppl of 4 chan were able to locate the girls town address name and fb profile based on 43 second video of her drowning puppies. Theya re also fighters for the free spread of knowledge and no censoring on the internet. They have had multiple fights against high class organizations such as Scientology and Sony. (Do  not get them confused with PSN hack. They only DoS the servers)
